Oh goodness, well, I couldn't handsew a pillow right to save my life until about...2001 I think. I believe that was the year when I first attempted making my own pattern and sewing a (unlined) bodice. The next year (or maybe that was in '03...can't remember), my friend :iconcountesslenore: and I worked together to make my red-gold court gown, and I just kept learning from there :) I just keep pushing myself harder to sew better, and make my own patterns too.
