New car show outfit Yay!! Ok, so this one's based off of the traditional Rally Yellow/Black dual-striped Camaro design, more specifically on the 2010 Transformers Edition Camaro. and I decided that we should make something new, simple, and cute for the nearby Michigan Camaro Superfest which is a huge gathering of a couple hundred Camaros of all generations in a nice park. The dress is made with leftover black fabric from my K.I.T.T. inspired dress and some yellow cotton of some sort (it's fairly heavy but not quite twill heavy) that I had originally planned for a different outfit. I like to call this the 24-hr dress, because that's about how long it tookm give or take a few hours. Designed/made the jewelry to match, bought the embroidered Chevy bowtie off eBay and put a cotton panel behind it. I got lots of compliments on the outfit at the show Always a good sign!
Huge thanks to the owner of this Transformers edition 2010 Camaro (he had a Human Alliance Bumblebee figure in the cupholder too, hehehe...) for letting me play with the car for a bunch of photos! Thanks also to for taking the pic with my camera. I also sketched/designed the idea for her outfit which I'm sure she'll post soon. Hers was based on the Synergy special edition green Camaro as seen HERE.
Heck yes I've always loved those colors on Camaros and on the rare Mustang, but I'll admit I have a soft spot for Bumblebee, whether he be a VW Beetle or Camaro I'm a Transformers geek and a car geek, so it's all good.
