My friend Kristin (Kris, the Pirate Wench [link] ) has given me permission to post this photo of herself wearing a wench bodice which I made for her recently. For more information about the bodice, go here [link] This is my fav of her photos of her wearing her pirate wench outfit, esp. since she pulled off a "Jack Sparrow" pose :giggle:

Kris, Lenore, and I, and possibly our friend Vevilia are planning on wearing Pirate garb all on the same day to Faire this summer (Pirate invasion weekend, of course!), hehe. My garb (all except the bodice and hat made by Countess Lenore) can be seen here [link] Oh yeah, and the hat Kris made was based off mine ^^ Cheap halloween store hat + trim + feathers + brooches/buttons = one spiffy hat!!

That is such a cool outfit too... you guys just rock!! How come I don't have friends like you guys near by me? So I wouldn't feel so weird to "dress up" O.o;

I am SO happy with the way that garb turned out!!!! It turned out even better than I had imagined as was a huge hit a Frankenfeast!!! Thanks for the bodice, Lucrezia, and for teaching me how to make one.

No prob! I learned a few things myself for improving my bodice designs :D Sewing is something you learn from experience, and isn't really too difficult to learn either. For me, the hardest thing is following a pattern (unless I drafted it) and making sure stuff turns out as it should, lol!

Wow, you are an amazing costume maker and designer. I absolutely love your taste in costumes... all the pirates and elves and whatnot. Keep up the amazing work!
