Whoo, I made it into the third cycle of Project Designer, hosted by . This first challenge was not only to pick a model, which I had picked before the first challenge, but to design a tube dress that represented me the best, setting me apart from the other designers. Part of the objective was to be "wild and flirtatious" with the design, which is definately what I've done here.

As is required for the entry, here are the stats for my model.

Name: Iris
Hair Color: Medium brown with blackish ends
Ethnicity: Latin

Fabric choices for this gown... Well, I picture this gown to have the body made from stretch satin, with satin bias edging along the neckline (also serving as straps). The upper portion of the dress is beaded with varying sized glass and seed beads in reds, oranges, and pearl. There is a strip of satin trim and a panel of gold patterned brocade at the bottom, just before the petal skirting, which is made of dyed and patterned silks. My model is wearing a pair of low heel sandals that match the dress and are also beaded, a matching necklace and earrings, and even a matching barrette. She only wears one bracelet cuff made of copper.

When I converted the file from .psd to .jpg, it kinda pixelated the gradients...so just ignore that.
