This gown was a hit at Silver Leaf Ren Fest [link] yesterday (July 9th)! I got so many compliments and comments about the gown!

The bodice, overskirt, and sleeves are made of mint/grass green/pearl/brass-gold satin brocade. For more info about the bodice and oversleeves, go here:

The oversleeves attach to the bodice with button/loop closures. There are 3 ribbon loops sewn under the shoulder area of the bodice, and three gold/pearl buttons along the top of the sleeves. Very convenient for easy removal as I found out first hand yesterday after Faire, hehe :3 The overskirt was knife-pleated into a 3 1/2 inch tall waistband that laces shut with 5 small (sewn over) grommets per side. The underskirt has 3 panels (I'll be doing a photoshoot with mom's help this week to get detailed pics of this garb), one in emerald (as shown), one in mint, and one in gold (see a pic of the fabrics here [link] ). So, I can wear the gown with whichever panel I want I could even switch colors during a day at Faire if I wanted XD Um, what else. Oh, I made the bodice jewelry (the pearl/gold tri-piece set on the bodice front), the earrings (here's a detailed pic of the earrings [link] ), and the huge ring XD Oh yeah, and I made Fuzzbutt's jewelry too (Fuzzbutt is my mink pelt [link] I've added more jewels to his filigree since that pic was taken).

I still need to add the shoulder rolls and edge the center front openings of the overskirt with pearls (like the top edge of the bodice), and re-hem the two side-front overskirt panels an inch or two, but that's it I'll be nabbing a few piccys from Mistress Kristin once she uploads her pics, so I can show you all the back of the gown and whatnot. I'm hoping perhaps this year at MRF I could get one of the Faire photographers to take a few nice pics of the finished outfit :3
